These will be offered in a Natural Honey (similar to this item’s color), Dark Brown (similar to this item’s color), and Dark Grey (similar to this item’s color). These are food and water contact safe and it is a perfect cart to use at Farmers Markets. They can be left outdoors. They are also perfect for merchandising, and because it has wheels, can be easily moved around. Care and maintenance is a breeze. These are 100% recyclable and very durable.

Any one of our items can be made in a synthetic version. If you or your customers have a requirement for material that is outdoor, UV, food, and water contact safe, please feel free to send us your requests. We can customize the size, shape, and color to your needs.

New RED Shelf Baskets have arrived (E6468RDG):

These shelf baskets are available in various sizes and they nest. The are rectangular with cut-out handles. They are hand woven, rattan and rattan coil in a lombok weave pattern. The baskets are stained, NOT painted, with an eco-friendly water based stain.

As you plan for stocking merchandise for the upcoming holiday shopping season, please let us know what products and quantities that you will be most interested in for the holidays. We plan on having stock on hand for all items but since demand can very widely, it would be greatly beneficial to you and your customers to ensure prompt delivery of items you request. If you plan to order any items in quantities of more than 10, the sooner we know about it, the better the chance of having the items and quantities in stock for the holidays. As you know, it usually takes between 60-90 days for an out of stock item to be shipped. 30 days of this time is just for transportation. This is because the items are hand made overseas and shipped to our warehouse in California.

Our price list has been updated effective July 1, 2010. Many of the items have no change in the prices. The price changes primarily affect our MDC and MDE product lines as the cost for the raw material has increased slightly. Please request an electronic version of our price list by contacting us. Please put “Price List” in the subject line.

Highlights:

• Slight changes to MDC and MDE item prices due to raw material costs. Prices are valid till December 31, 2010.
• Item # change – We have dropped the preceding MD on ALL our item numbers. For example, MDC1787NRL is now C1787NRL. Website will be updated in the coming weeks to reflect these changes.
• Group item # change – All items that end in K, particularly for the C and E product lines, now end in G (for Group). For example, MDC0021NRK is now C0021NRG. Website will be updated in the coming weeks to reflect these changes.
• Active Stock Items – The price list will only show the Active Stock Items. If you notice an item missing from the price list that you have ordered before, it means that it is discontinued or possibly just a part number change (see above). If a discontinued item is in the C or E product line (i.e. begins with a C or E), then it can be special ordered. All other items that do not begin with a C or an E, cannot be special ordered.
• Special Order Items – If an item is a special order item, minimum quantities apply. All orders with special ordered items need to be pre-paid. Once in production (within 7 days of the order), it cannot be cancelled.

Unlike many of the bigger companies, we don’t spend a lot of resources advertising our eco credentials. What we do is simple. Make products that are naturally eco-friendly and try to do things that make our company eco-friendly as well. We believe it is a process and it takes continual improvement over time. It is never ending. One can always improve. We don’t print catalogs anymore. We don’t fax or snail mail invoices unless specifically requested by our customers (hey, we have to get paid!) but we do encourage them to accept electronic invoices and also pay via funds transfer or credit card so we avoid paper where we can. Unfortunately, we still receive a lot of paper mail even when we ask not to. We try and do our part. We are not perfect but we strive to be good stewards of our environment. We believe in doing, not just saying. We know our customers are smart and can figure out who is and isn’t really eco-friendly.
